Companies that are given the Inspection/Expeditor role in Navarik Inspection are also referred to as third party companies and they are used in the system as inspector or expeditor companies. They can be nominated for inspection work and the people in these companies can be granted access to Navarik Inspection.
Third party companies are created by Navarik. Since an inspection or expeditor company can be used by multiple system owners, these third party company records are created by Navarik.
Although Navarik creates the third party company record, the information within that record is maintained by the third party company. For example, if the address, contact details or person details need to be added or updated, the third party company manages this information. Navarik simply creates the record and the third party company maintains it.
The only piece of information for a third party company that is maintained by the system owner is the bank account details. These details are added to a company's office.
Once the third party company is created and a user is given access to the system, this user can add other contact records, create hubs, and update contact information. A hub is a collection of offices and is used to filter the information that users see. Each third party company must have at least one hub.

There is no link between the third party company and a contact company. If this third party company is already contact company in your system, your records are not updated to use the third party company instead of the contact company. |
