The following fields are used in a snippet record:
| ▪ | Name: The name of the snippet. |
| ▪ | Privacy: Indicates if the snippet is shared or not. If the snippet is shared, then other users in your company can see the snippet. If it is private, only you can use the snippet. |
| ▪ | Status: Indicates if the snippet is active or if it is no longer in use. |
| ▪ | Text: Enter the text for the snippet. If you send emails to the same email addresses, you can enter these email addresses and then use the snippet in the To or CC fields when sending an email. |
| ▪ | Used In: Indicates which field the snippet can be used in. For each of these fields, a drop-down list is provided above the text box to allow you to choose the snippet. |
