Inspection > Nomination Revisions > Rescind a Nomination
To cancel a nomination once it has been issued to an inspection company, you must rescind the nomination. When you rescind a nomination, the following happens:
| ▪ | All the parcels in the nomination with an Accepted status are changed to Rescinded. Parcels with a Declined status are left as Declined. Inspectors can still view but cannot change the nomination. |
| ▪ | The status of inspection worksheets and time logs associated with the nomination are set to Rescinded. Inspectors can no longer make changes to the inspection worksheets, time logs, or invoices. |
| o | Nominations cannot be rescinded if the inspector has submitted inspection results |
| ▪ | Operators can no longer revise the nomination, but can still view the rescinded nomination, including the inspection worksheets and time logs, and can copy the nomination. |
| ▪ | Inspection companies are sent emails notifying them that the nomination was rescinded. |

|
Note that an individual parcel cannot be rescinded. You can change or delete the parcel by revising the nomination.
