The methods of transport (MOT) are used in Nominations. Navarik Inspection tracks the previous names of methods of transport. If a vessel name changes and the catalogue data is updated, the previous names can be viewed in the method of transport record.
Vessel MOTs
Vessels are used as the method of transport in all non-pipeline nominations. The several types of vessels used are barges, LNG tankers, tankers, and other (such as tugs).
Pipeline MOTs
Pipelines are used as the method of transport in all pipeline nominations.
